Overview
We are a husband & wife team reforesting 10 hectares of degraded cattle pasture in the Alto Mayo region of northern Peru. The property is remote, steep, and rather inaccessible, but we've been fighting the uphill battle since early 2020 when we planted over 11,000 trees on this deforested landscape. We specialize in over 30 species of fruit trees, and have recently integrated Vanilla cultivation using wild Peruvian species of Vanilla. At the end of 2024 we began our foray into the world of grazing grass and silvopasture when we purchased 6 sale barn cows.
